Steven Bamidele – Things Could Be Better

Everybody sees in three directions
at least that’s what I’ve been told
every story comes from two directions
do you know which side you’re on?

Every time that you apologized,
did you really think you were wrong?
All this time you’ve had to compromise
and you’ve known it all along

So trust me, please

Things could be better for you
Things could be better for you, I’m sure
Things could be better for you
Things could be better, better, better please

Ooh-ooh uuh uu-uuh

No one really knows what they’re a part of
Till it finally spits them out
I can’t say that I’ll be there for you,
but I will look for you somehow

Trust me

Things could be better for you
Things could be better for you, I’m sure
Things could be better for you
Things could be better, better, better please

The Notorious B.I.G. – Come On (1st Take) Lyrics

[Intro: The Notorious B.I.G.]
Nigga was motherfuckin’ hyped up
Nigga just grabbed a nigga and snuffed a nigga
And it was on from there wasn’t nothing stopping him holmes
(What did the rest of them niggas do)
Them motherfuckers was ready for anything
Them niggas was packing burners, niggas ready to fight with them
Niggas doing what they had to do holmes
Niggas on the real flip mode homes
Niggas coming out like a motherfucker
Niggas was antsy, like come on, come on, motherfuckers!

[Hook]
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on

[Verse 1: Sadat X]
Let’s go deep into the phrase, feel the sun rays
Off the forehead, everything is real
Biggie put me on this joint, so I’ma be the big wheel
Watch it spin, hey dad, placed your bet on seven
Peace to 106, 108, 110 and 111th
Hey Biggie, I understand you’re from Brooklyn
With .22s in your shoes, yo, keep this joint cooking

[Verse 2: Notorious B.I.G.]
Well, why not blow up the spot with Sadat?
Release the brainstorm to make your motherfucking brain warm
A strange form, something kind of lyrical
Biggie the bastard, Sadat’s kind of spiritual
Well, in God we trust, guns I bust
Got that disgusting, sewer-style dumping
And, uh, do you know where you’re going to?
Do you like the things that I bring?
Make an MC wanna sing for a living
Take the beatdown we fucking giving
C’mon, motherfucker!

[Hook]
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on

[Verse 3: Sadat X]
I walk slight but I carries a big stick
Nobody pay me close, hey Biggie buy another toast
My shit is set off
Somebody screaming somebody is shot
Is it over Crack, or a nigga will try to act?
The big city don’t spare no bodies
Call me papi chulo, to all the Spanish mamis
I’m in real form, ready to rush your dorm
Hold back your mom ’cause I came for your daughter
Is it time for slaughter, or should I pull the plug?
Sometimes I get wild lifted, and niggas tell me I bug
I claim now, this my set, somebody could be wet
Ayo Biggie, give me the word and I’ll let out the herd
With that Uptown spliff, 45th inside the gift
And we can do this
Check it out

[Hook]
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on

[Verse 4: Notorious B.I.G.]
I got seven Mac-11’s, about eight .38’s
Nine 9’s, ten Mac-10’s the shits never end
You can’t touch my riches
Even if you had MC Hammer and them 357 bitches
Biggie Smalls, the millionaire, the mansion, the yacht
The two weed spots, the two hot Glocks
Huh, that’s how I got the weed spot
I shot dread in the head, took the bread and the Lambsbread
Lil’ Gotti got the shotty to your body
So don’t resist or you might miss Christmas
I tote guns, I make number runs
I give MCs the runs dripping
When I throw my clip in the AK, I slay from far away
Everybody hit the D-E-C-K
My slow flows remarkable, peace to Matteo
Now we smoke weed like Tony Montana sniff the llello

[Hook]
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on
Come on, motherfuckers, come on

The Beatles – Ain’t She Sweet Lyrics

[Chorus 1]
Oh ain’t she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?

[Chorus 2]
Oh ain’t she nice
Well look her over once or twice
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she nice?

[Chorus 3]
Just cast an eye
In her direction
Oh me oh my
Ain’t that perfection?

[Chorus 4]
Oh I repeat
Well don’t you think that’s kind of neat?
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?

[Chorus 1]
Oh ain’t she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?

[Chorus 2]
Oh ain’t she nice
Well look her over once or twice
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she nice?

[Chorus 3]
Just cast an eye
In her direction
Oh me oh my
Ain’t that perfection?

[Chorus 4]
Oh I repeat
Well don’t you think that’s kind of neat?
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?

[Chorus 1]
Oh ain’t she sweet
Well see her walking down that street
Well I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?
Well I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?

Vybz Kartel Delivers “One Box” While Tackling Taboo Subject

Vybz Kartel delivers a fire new single “One Box” while touching on taboo subject

The Worl’Boss first previewed the single in December last year which then cause some fans to voice their concerns about him glorifying domestic violence against women. At the time, fans were being urged to wait until the full song arrives and don’t pre-judge the track based on a snippet. But Kartel knew exactly what he was doing when he only previewed the verse to spark some controversy and build some hype ahead of the release of the full song.

Well, it’s finally here and you can listen below and be the judge. In my opinion, it’s the opposite of what the initial backlash was about, instead of glorifying domestic violence, Vybz Kartel cleverly speaks out against it a way that is socially acceptable in dancehall. “Him a go party, you affi go party to, him a give yo bun but yo naughty too… The boy waan kill yo for your pum pum, him a gwaan like say it under him foot, tell him say look you no old foot, yo f*** him and clean and yo cook,” Kartel deejay.

Whatever your views are about the song, you can always expect Vybz Kartel to come with something different and touch on some hot-button social issues. Aside from his lyrical prowess, that’s one trait that has helped him to stand out in dancehall over the years.

Florida rapper XXXTentacion announced last weekend that he has a new song with Vybz Kartel coming out soon. The announcement was met with mixed reactions from dancehall fans who thinks the young MC is just another whack rapper trying to drain some of the incarcerated deejay’s energy and popularity. Nevertheless, it will be the deejay’s first hip hop crossover single in a while.

50 Cent and Chief Keef Reacts To Fredo Santana’s Death

50 Cent gave a rousing tribute to the late Fredo Santana while Chief Keef reminds fans he is blood.

In case you were living off the grid for the entire weekend, Fredo Santana, a rising rapper in the South Chicago rap scene died on Friday (Jan. 19) plunging the hip hop community in mourning. A number of rappers have been sending their tribute to one of the most recognized voices from Chi-Town, but perhaps it was 50 Cent who get the most attention after saying his piece.

“R.I.P Fredo, l liked Sosa’s (SH*T l DON’T LIKE) when l first seen it. the sh*t was just raw, the beauty of hip hop is when it’s your time nothing can stop you,” 50 Cent wrote. “Fredo stood out to me. I was like, now that n**** crazy and I’m a little crazy so l watched him. When he said he looked up to me, l wanted to work with him but we didn’t get the chance to do anything. When l heard he passed l didn’t know what to say. To his family l send my condolence. SOSA call my phone.”

Chief Keef, aka Sosa, had to remind fans that Fredo Santana was not his friend, he was his blood. “Stop saying Fredo was my friend, That’s my cousin, Big difference,” he tweeted. Santana died following his long struggle with drug addiction even though he was getting help. One of his close friends told us on Instagram that he died from a mild seizure. In October last year, he was hospitalized for kidney and liver failure and after his release, he vowed to get help for his addiction problems. Before his death, Santana was working on his Walking Legend 2 mixtape, due sometime this year. Now there are no telling whether or not that project will see the light of day.
